  I have now fitted 2 sets of brushes to our Bosch machine machine - its over 16 years old and just seems to go on and on. The connectors were slightly different than the originals and a bit fiddly to fit - but only took 5 minutes once the motor was unbolted. Perhaps we will get another 5 years out of the machine for less than £10 - thank you

  Motor brush replacement 27 November 2008

  This carbon brush set was a cheap repair solution to a Bosch WFL 2000 that would have otherwise been taken to the tip, a bit fiddily to replace and the soldered connectors needed redoing, but overall no complaints and machine is now working well, a cut down biro top makes a good spring holder if you need to resolder the connectors.

  Bosch Washing Machine Revival 29 October 2008

  Way way cheaper than a new motor.Not too difficult to fit if you have a few tools and around an hour or so of time available.Or know a man (or woman) who does.

  Bosch carbon brushes 29 October 2008

  The wire from the brush to the terminal was very poorly attached and came away from the terminal as i inserted it into the motor. This was not to much of a problem and i removed the brush again and tinned the ends of the wire and resoldered it to the terminal. thankyou for this oppertunity to have a say about the brushes and i hope this information will be of help to you. and dont worry i will still used you in the future. many thanks.   Excellent value and reasonably easy to fit. I fitted these to a 3 or 4 year-old Bosch washing machine that someone had actually replaced and was going to throw away! The machine was advertised on freecycle (Google it) and I've ended up with an excellent machine having spent only a few quid on parts. A bargain.
