Helpful Advice:
To reset the F21 error on a Bosch machine, turn the program knob from the off position (12 o'clock) to the 6 o'clock position and immediately press and hold the spin button. Then while holding the spin button turn the knob to 7 o'clock position and continue holding the spin button for 15 seconds. Then turn the knob to the off position.
i have changed the carbon bushes and i can't clear the error code f21 i cannot find the spin button or rpm on my bosch classics 6 washing pls could you help for me to clear the code.

The Classic 6 is a series and not a model. There should be a spin speed button to press when carrying out the rest procedure.
Just gone to open machine and found machine to have the spin button on but not flashing, washing stillwet so didnt appear to have spun but no water in machine so presume pump working but washing would usually be much drier, so premuse not spun. Tried turning machine off then 3 lights on the spin speed display bar flash and wont allow you to press any other buttons. Would this be a problem with the brushes or control panel??? If it is the brushes are the ones listed on site suitable as not sure if this model has a FHP motor?????
RE Amanda's comments. please watch the video again because it is important to realise that your machine can be unbalanced when washing one or two items on their own or with a full load. it is not so much about how full the machine is it is to do with whether the heavier items in the load can spread evenly around all the drum.
If the problem resets when switched off and you had a heavy item in the load (large towel bath matt or bath robe) the fault may have been out of balance (see:How to Prevent a Washing Machines Spinning Noisily: http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/7/2401 If the machine still wont start check the brushes (see :How to replace the carbon brushes on a washing machine - Bosch http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/7/1379 )
The house dis-board RCD always trips a few minutes into a wash, except if the element is disconnected or a cold wash is selected. Must be the element. A new element worked for 2 washes but now does the same. I made up a test lead to plug the element directly into the mains, but it doesn't trip the RCD. So now it doesn't appear to be the element tripping the RCD. Any clues?
Check the front lip of the inner drum does not allow more than a mm or so movement in relation to the rest of the drum. If there is significant movement then significant bearing wear is likely.
Occasionally a element can trip due to a very small leakage current due to moisture in the element. This may clear after it has heated up a few times.
The washing machine does not start at all. Could it be the carbon brushers need replaced or a faulty motor? I'm not sure if the motor does not waork when the carbon brushes are worn out. Please advise.
Hi Rory, Great clear video. It looks easy enough so I had a go. Got the top panel off but the back and side panels seems to be all one piece. There is no panel I can take off at the back to expose the belt and motor. Any suggestions
You did not give the make and model of your machine but some have a two piece cabinet that is screwed with a centre joint. There is usually plastic plugs at the centre bottom to be removed to access the hidden screws.

Motor brushes, great deal 24 April 2022
Perfect fit for our washing machine as long as you ensure a free sliding fit into the brush sleeve. Heat as the brush wears down can cause slight distortion of the sleeve so the new brush will sometimes require very minimal sanding to ensure correct fit. ESpares video tutorials were very good.
