  Good purchase 24 February 2017

  Bosch Washing machine type WAE24468GB/06 Carbon Brushes seem to be good but how long they will last in service will decide the quality of the material. A problem arose when fitting to the carbon brush metal housing because the brass contact at end of carbon brush wire did not fit the housing. The problem was solved by very fine delicate filing of the brass contact. Care had to be taken not to file down the part of contact where the motor wiring is attached. A very small file is needed. When deciding if brushes fit your particular machine, it would be a help if web site gave measurements of brushes.

  OK but not perfect 21 September 2014

  There is not much that can be wrong with a pair of carbon brushed but inaccurate sizing is by no means ideal. One brush was very slightly wider than the other and was therefore a tight fit. Light rubbing on a file was enough to solve the problem but should not be necessary.

  Wire came off 14 July 2014

  Whilst putting one of the brushes into position the wire to the brush contact came off within seconds. It's a fiddly job but it shouldn't have come apart so easily. I soldered it back on and can only hope that it holds together.

  A nightmare 25 October 2012

  Took more than an hour to do,back didn't come off and had to cut holes in back to get at screws.Nothing like the video at all. After replacing brushes and belt still not working so buying another machine.

  Good stuff - but wrong! 06 September 2012

  The parts came by post and arrived more quickly than I expected. However, despite having gone through the excellent selection procedure on the website, and although the "Fits the following models" view says they fit my model, they did not. They fitted into the motor, but the connection on the end of the wire was not the right one. Because I was desperate to get the machine going again, I cut off the connections from both sets of brushes and soldered the original ones onto the new brushes. Worked a treat! The image on the web-site appears to be a "generic" one. Perhaps a close-up of the connectors might be a good idea to help identify if I'm buying the correct brush

  Easy but! 28 March 2011

  Bought 1 year ago, March 2010, Easy to fit, a bit noisey for 1st 6 washes, then perfect BUT Bought 2 sets (glad I did) as they only lasted 6 months each set. I will now try the ones that are a bit more expensive.

  Cheap but clips fall off 01 February 2010

  I had read other reviews luckily on the site which warn of the problems. The spade connectors are spot welded to the wire really badly & luckily will fall off before you get chance to fit them... (better than after you fitted them!!) They are much easier to fit if you take the motor off which is relatively simple. Shame they don't sort out the weld quality. If you are game for soldering them on, then the part is fine & very cheap. If not pay the £30 for the Bosch ones.
