  Cheapest is not the best 26 August 2014

  If you've got a Bosch Exxcel 1200 with a Siemens motor these brushes are a very tight fit & will have to be filed down to fit. Motor has to be removed through bottom of machine to get at them. Buy the Bosch brushes instead!

  Carbon brushes 26 November 2013

  Disappointed with delivery service. Ordered Monday evening and did not arrive until Thursday. Ease of fitting hard but then again that was the machine's outlay

  Only installed for a week 04 March 2012

  I have fitted a lot of washer brushes .These are no worse than most to fit.However I noticed an odd smell from the machine after only one week operation.This took some tracking down .I found the brushes were actually over heating as measured with infra-red non contact thermometer.This was causing the brush carriers to get very hot and scorch.There would seem to be a problem with this make of brush .Have fitted genuine brushes temp' back to normal.I'd say stick to the genuine article may safer.

  Item not fit for purpose 03 May 2011

  This item should have been easy to fit, but unfortunately the spring that is attached to the brush was not the best fit and caused problems, also the brushes wore down very quickly. I contacted the support team who informed me that this was ok and if I liked they would sell me the original brushes at a reduced price. I have informed them that my original contact was to inform them there was a problem with there product and did hope I would be offered a refund or a replacement but unfortunately they have not been forthcoming. Just a further note the original parts they offered to sell me caused some confusion as the makers of the motor say that they stopped making parts for this motor back in 2007.

  Poor quality replacements 06 December 2010

  I bought two sets in order to have a spare. One brush separated from its wire without ever being fitted. The set that was fitted has lasted a little over 1 month in use, and has worn halfway down. The motor just stopped because of carbon build-up. Had to blow it through to get it working again. The carbon in these brushes is too soft to give a reasonable working life.

  Compatible Brush 18 March 2010

  When trying to fit, connector broke from the wire connecting it to the brush. This makes it unusable. Best to spend the extra and buy the stronger Bosch original component.

  Very Poor! 10 January 2010

  Bought these Brushes for my Bosch washing machine. My machine failed to spin and drain just before Christmas. New Brushes came other day, but when my husband came to fitting them he found them to be of poor quaility, brass end came away from copper wire and spring went flying off. My husband tried to solder parts back together but what a waiste of time and money. Wish I had only read other customers comments. But at the end of the day.... YOU ONLY GET WHAT YOUVE PAID FOR.. Totally disapointed. Had to put all remains in bin.

  Fell to bits before fitting 12 September 2009

  Carbon brushes for washing machine - took them out of the packet and straightened the spring for fitting into the holder and the wire fell apart from the carbon. The hole appeared to be too big for the wire. Had to throw in the bin. Waste of money but I suppose you only get what you've paid for or, in this case, I didn't get even that. Should be zero stars all round!

  Bosch Washing/Machine Replacement Bush's 27 February 2009

  Parts arrived ahead of time ,packaged well,good service. However my major disapointment was that the contact wire fell out of the brush rendering it inoperative before installing in the motor , on further inspection it apears that the contact wire was pushed into the carbon Brush as aposed to being correctly fixed :-(. I would suggest followup with the source supplier.
