  Tricky switch DC19 16 April 2017

  Fitting this item was quite difficult as the wheels had to be removed which required a little brute force and ignorance. The espares video did not cover my model, which meant I had to trawl thru YouTube to find something similar.

  Probably just the spring 09 April 2017

  Bought this to replace the switch that wouldn't stay on on my dc25. Turned out that the original switch worked ok but i swapped it whilst i was there anyway. I think the spring for the switch cover (red) had probably worked loose and that was my initial problem. All working fine now.

  Dyson DC14 ON/OFF Switch 06 April 2017

  One of the easier parts to fit a Dyson, needs a TORQ screwdriver though (set of four quite cheap to buy and will provide years of use for those 'tricky' screw heads). Two screws and two plastic lugs hold the cover in place, viewed from the back.
