Was a bit of a pest to fit Dyson does not make it easy and there are a couple of springs that like to escape but the new switch is a perfect fit

Perfect identical replacement part for Dyson vacuum 06 December 2017
A perfect replacement on / off switch for a Dyson DC 25. Easy to fit in place of the old switch, simply unplug and replace the connections although reassembly of the cover and press controls is fiddly and care needed ( typical Dyson in fact ) - took about 15 minutes in total. Very rapid service from eSpares. Part arrived about 19 hours after order was placed ! Highly recommended !

The how to does not show how difficult it is on the dc25 to remove the cover assembly. it is most difficult as the cover contains the lock assembly for container. I am struggling with removal of cover, its not as easy as in your video.

This is a genuine Dyson part and very reasonably priced, however it was extremely difficult to fit. It was very fiddly but worth the effort as it's much cheaper than buying a new cleaner
