This item is of very poor quality, not fit for purpose, I have had to replace it 3 times in the life of my 3year old cooker. As it is a genuine spare part, I have placed this complaint in the hands of BSH (UK Bosch service) who have reacted sympathetically. Try this yourself. The glass shatters, leaving a sharp edged rim remaining in the roof of the oven, which is very hard to remove. The plastic tool intended for the insertion of the replacement lens is of no help in this situation. This is not the fault of E-spares, who's service continues to be excellent!

Neff Oven Light Lens 17 August 2010
The glass light lens on my Neff oven decided to break into two bits. But to make things worse, the threaded part stayed intact and firmly lodged in the ceiling of the oven. Had to gently break it up with a small hammer to remove it. The replacement lens came with a really handy plastic removal tool, however is only of any use if the vast majority of the lens is still intact.

Excellent product fitted straight away and even came with its own fitting tool , and the cost was minimal. Highly recommded.

This part is supplied with a tool to remove the old one and fit the new. I read that many struggled without having a special tool.

Poor quality cover 09 September 2010
Not the fault of espares but it appears that the cover glass fails regularly. Our cooker is less than 2yrs old and the replacement cover has broken for the second time.The worry is what has happened to glass slivers? They could have gone into a open dish! As has been commented earlier, removing the remains of the cover is not easy either.
