  Forth time purchase 04 January 2015

  Cannot fault replacements, obviously design not good for prolonged high temperatures. Difficult to get out when broken, tool no good. Forth replacement in 9 years. Service from espares is excellent.

  Great Product shame about the Quality 27 June 2014

  Have ordered these in the past as the original broke after 10 years. Each of the first two replacements (I always keep a spare) lasted twelve to eighteen months, but since then I am replacing these every three to four months as they just crack and between one third/half the lens just falls in to the bottom of the oven. I am beginning to wonder if it is down to the quality of the glass to keep the cost down? Personally I would rather pay a little more and have a better quality lens that I don`t have to keep replacing every twelve to sixteen weeks? Unless it is a clever ploy to make us Bosch oven owners pay more?

  Soooo difficult to remove! 02 January 2013

  Bulb had gone in oven so had to remove glass cover to replace it. We tried for literally hours to remove it and eventually had to purchase a special tool to remove cover to actually replace bulb. My second (larger) oven has only been used a handful of times so we thought we would try to remove glass cover in this oven BEFORE it became a neccessity-it was IMPOSSIBLE- even with the special tool we had purchased! Ours is a Bosch appliance-I really think they need to do something to rectify this problem as their apploiances are not CHEAP. I am dreading the bulb in the main (larger) oven blowing as we will never be able to replace it! Help!

  Got there eventually ! 25 April 2012

  I had ready many posts on websites re problems in removing the lamp cover & had experienced the same issue. I found the cover remover difficult to hold & turn at the same time & decided to smash the old cover to get it off. However, having tapped it a few times it then screwed off without the gadget & I was able to change the light bulb with no problem. I now have a spare lamp cover !

  Easy to fit, hard to remove 19 December 2010

  This is the second lamp lens fitted. They have both cracked just above the threaded section. Take care when removing remains of threaded section, use an oven tray to catch the bits especially if you need to use a pair of pliers to break it out. (Brush the tray out carefully after and wash thoroughly.) New lens is a doddle to fit with the tool supplied.

  Poor quality cover 09 September 2010

  Not the fault of espares but it appears that the cover glass fails regularly. Our cooker is less than 2yrs old and the replacement cover has broken for the second time.The worry is what has happened to glass slivers? They could have gone into a open dish! As has been commented earlier, removing the remains of the cover is not easy either.
