Can Bosch make an oven glass that lasts longer than eighteen months 13 October 2015

This is now the fifth replacement glass I have purchased since buying the cooker in 2007, please Bosch, design one that will last longer with an oven that is not excessively used. Compliments to e-Spares for prompt delivery, however can they also make the removal tool an optional purchase as I now have five of them.

Something Faulty about this product 05 March 2013

We wonder about the design or quality of this product as we have had two previous lamp Lens shatter while cooking and the meal lost due to glass fragments. The Neff cooker is 4 year old.

Neff Oven Lamp Lens 03 May 2012

The glass lamp lens was the second replacement required since the oven was installed in September 2010, which indicates that there is a serious design/material fault in the glass unit. The latest replacement, procured via espares, was cheaper than quoted by Neff, easy to order online and delivered promptly.

First Lens Cracked in Half 19 March 2012

The first replacement lens split around the circumference in less than two months so was replaced efficiently at no cost. Let's hope the 2nd replacement lasts several years as intended!

Might be good if we were able to fit it 31 January 2012

We were unable to remove the old lamp lens from our Neff oven to fit a new bulb so, when we saw the advert for the threaded glass oven lamp lens which comes with the lens cover remover we thought our problems were over but, NO. We are still unable to remove the old lens cover even with the remover gadget - it just moves backwards and forwards slightly but won't unscrew.

    Disappointed 28 December 2011

I thought this would be the answer to our prayer after several attempts to remove the lamp cover going as far as to take the oven to bits we heared about espares and was told how good this part was to remove the lamp cover. Unfortunately it hasnt worked so still cooking in the dark. I dont believe it is the parts fault it is the workmanship of Neffs having to call the engineer out the first time I had a blown bulb was bad enough, when I enquired the second time they told me it would be a call out charge plus the cost of the parts. If Neff think that people can afford an extortunate amount to change a light bulb they are unbelievable. We will never have another Neff oven

Not so best purchase ever 26 December 2011

This is the second time I had to buy this Glass oven lamp lens in last 4 years, which is the age of my oven. It's quite easy to fit, especially with the plastic holder (which I've got two of them now). If this glass wasn't strong enough to be used in the oven, it shouldn't be there.

Not very impressed 05 November 2011

Replacement only lasted 4 months in oven. It sheared in half today while cooking a banana cake. The glass lamp cover fell plop into the cake mixture rendering the cake I'd slaved all morning over fit only for the dustbin! Even worse the cover broke in such a manner we can't use the removal tool to remove the rest.
