Item arrived fast and fitted perfectly, I followed the video on the espares website and it was 100% spot on. I had to remove a few more screws than was shown on the video but nothing major. One tip, when removing all the screws keep them grouped and a note of where they go back as they all look the same when it comes to putting them all back in again.......

The e-spares video featured my exact model of Bosch washing machine and confirmed the 'symptoms' of a failed heater. The new heat element arrived on time, but was quite a bit shorter than the original part. I did wonder if the rounded end would reach the support bracket. A "Don't worry if..." note would have helped there. Fitting was easy, offering a rare opportunity to directly inspect the sump. Forty minutes later the machine was back in action, no leaks, all is well now. Last year I fitted new motor brushes with help from the e-spares video. So another job's completed with minimal expense and increased confidence!

the replacement of the heater involved removing the entire front panel of the machine so i replaced the door seal at the same time, following the online video made the job very easy though my machine has 4 plastic retaining clips as well as the screws holding it on which were not appearent in the video,the parts fitted perfectly first time and as i live in a hard water area i was glad i bought the thermostat as well as i was unable to remove the old one for reuse. thanks espares
