  Ordered the wrong part first time from espares but they exchanged for the correct part and even checked that I was ordering the right one! Product was easy to fit especially with the installation video supplied. Highly recommend using espares and will use again before buying a new tumble dryer!

  Excellent product 17 March 2015

  I have just repaired my tumble drier using this product. I followed the instruction video on the website which shows how to do it. The only difference for my machine was 2 screws hidden behind the lower plastic cover. I managed to fit it without removing the drum, which was good. In summary, great product, super quick delivery and an excellent instruction video.

  easy to fit have to drill out the rivets on the existing drum using a 5.5mm drill bit that is holding the old shaft to the drum, then bolt on the new one with the bolts supplied, good fix saves buying a complete drum.

  Dryer back to life! 11 February 2015

  Our dryer sounded awful, it worked but was grinding and thudding constantly. When I removed the bearing cover, the bearing was in 3 pieces and the shaft was wearing through the metal back panel. This simple kit solved the problem and the dryer is as good as new, the espares video was a great guide and it was done in no time at all. Chuffed to bits to get the dryer sorted without spending a fortune, will be back!

  Riveted Shaft Version. Dryer is squealing. 10 December 2014

  This replacement shaft kit has all the bits you need and instructions. It is not work cutting corners and only replacing the bearing. The shaft is damaged and scored. Before you start, have a 5.5mm steel drill bit and the torx screwdriver and socket to complete the assembly. You will also need plenty of space and time. Dismantling the dryer is slow to get to the drum. The eSpares video is good for completing the dismantling process. Remember the back slides about 2cm to the right to remove. Have a felt pen handy to mark the fan blades as they are in two parts. I used a little thread lock on the nuts as an extra precaution. Done 2 of these within days of each other. Both successful.
