Not easy but perfectly possible 11 April 2020
A fiddle to fit but certainly do-able. Main stumbling block that I encountered was to loosen the inner band the bolt had to be turned CLOCKWISE ie what you'd expect to tighten it and opposite to that shown in the video. This was due to the slightly odd design of band fastening mechanism. After that and an extra pair hands to hold it in place at the top whilst I pushed it in all round the job was done.

Very impressed with espares and the ease of ordering. I made good use of the video on youtube of how to install this then ordered it. The video was very helpful but didn't make clear just how fiddly the inner cable was to fit. ... Also on the video it looks like the back cable is new with each new rubber seal... But I've realised it isn't and I can't get mine off.... So I've had to get someone in to help me. However Really impressed with the service and the updates by text. I liked the option to have it left in a secure place by DPD. Overall really pleased and I will be using you again in the future if I need any spare parts.

A pain to fit but has fixed a leaking door seal 20 February 2019
No reflection on the quality of the seal itself but having watched a couple of online videos on how to fit, the inner seal retaining wire was nowhere near as easy as the videos suggested. Nontheless I managed to get it fitted eventually and the machine is now leak free

Simple job 08 February 2019
Had a problem with the washer and in fixing that found a hole in the door seal. Got onto espares after trying a internet search and found the price for an original part was cheaper than anywhere else. Part arrived in a couple of days, ordered Sat night part arrived Monday. Watched the video on espares for tips of fitting. Started and done within an hour. Very please. It's like new.

Samsung Door Seal 29 December 2018
Part arrived the day after ordering. Part was fitted as eSpares video. Removal of outer band is easy. Access to rear band is restricted, so I placed blocks of wood between concrete weights and washer outer casing to move drum back 50 to 60mm to give more access to inner band loosening mechanism. I started to loosen inner screw anticlockwise but very tight and gave clicking sound when turning the screw. After a while I realised that the screw had to be turned clockwise on my machine in order to release the inner band. Re-fitting the inner section is quite easy using washing up liquid as eSpares suggested. Tightening inner band is straight forward. The outer band is more difficult to position as the spring is very strong and kept pulling the band out of the rubber groove. I ended up using a plastic spatula to chase the band around the groove after application of washing up liquid to help the spatula slide easily over the rubber seal. It took just over one hour to carry out all operations, but if doing it again it would be much quicker now I know how to easily carry out the repair. Machine is now back to a new condition with no door leaks and no black mould. Very happy with the final result.

YouTube video shows you how to fit without removing the front panel which is ok if you have young fingers Spend an extra 10 minutes remove door(this makes the panel much lighter and easier to remove) remove door lock ,remove to cover remove screws from control panel move control panel upwards remove two top panel screws remove filter cover and free up drain hose remove 3 bottom panel screws lift panel up an away you can now see to remove and replace the door seal
