  Product was for the correct Samsung washing machine but the video for fitting was not correct for my model. The video indicated removing the inner retaining wire by turning anti clockwise with a Philips driver. On my model this was actually tightening the wire. This resulted in many cuts to my hands and a lot of wasted time. It was only spotted after I removed the front panel which exposed the full mechanism and it could be seen that to slacken the wire you would turn the bolt in a clockwise manner, as though tightening it. Straight forward to fit new rubber once this had been spotted. Would have saved a lot of time if removal description had indicated that there were two possibilities of undoing the inner wire retainer

  Washing Machine Door Seal for WF70F5E2W4W/EU 09 August 2018

  Hi, Part arrived and was the correct part. Thanks. I thought I would add a few helpful hints. Getting to the inner seal band is tricky on my particular model so I used a pair of mole grips between the outer case and the rear drum weight to hold the drum back. This allowed me to get to the screw on the seal band. On mine the band is loosened by turning the screw CLOCKWISE. Clever design because when you do it up you cannot overtighten the band. When putting on new seal use Fairy Liquid on both the inner and outer seal lips. Once the drum side seal is on feed the inner band on. Some of the drum weights get in the way but not too tricky. Hope this helps someone

  Exactly as promised 29 April 2018

  The espares video was invaluable to easy fitting of this part to the washing machine. Obviously there are many different machines which take the same part so the exact model is unlikely to be featured, and a little bit of initiative may be required. I had to remove the instrument panel to access the tensioning screw due to the cramped space in my machine. I knew this wasn't too tricky as I'd watched one of the other videos for a different part where this operation was necessary. Took me two hours, no special tools, just a screw driver, and saved money on a new machine or a call out to a repair agent.

  Cheaper than buying another washing machine. 04 February 2018

  After the mrs putting a wired bra in and ripping a hole in our 1 year old washing machine door seal I Ordered this item arrived very quickly good quality item. Looked on google how to fit a few times before I attempted it and bought it to make sure I could fit myslef but i found fitting was a lot easier then I first thought. Online shopping really helpful as long as you put your model code/ model serial number in lists all parts very helpful thank you I would definitely use this site and recommend. Thank you I know where to come when the mrs does it agin unless I get a new machine or mrs. Thanks again for all your help 👍

  Found the old seal easy to remove, however replacing the new one even using the tips on your site it was not as straight forward. The problem was the rear retaining spring which just would not go into position and once this was achieved did not want to tighten up however I persevered and won in the end. no problem with e spares good company.

  Ronseal door seal 31 October 2017

  A bit of a pain in the derier to put onto the drum. Then I watched the ehow video and it suggested putting washing up liquid around the seal to ease it on and bud-a-bing it went on a lot easier. Fitting to the outside of the machine easy enough. Removing the back panal and tilting the machine backwards also gave me more room to work at the front as its a bit tight in there. All in all simple enough job with no specialist tools needed would not hesitate to replace another in the future. Ordering and delivery no problems would use espares again no problem.
