  Opted for the genuine Samsung spare. Well made, easy to fit but given what it actually is .... grossly overpriced. It is the kind of spare that should not cost above 2% of the machine value. So by my calculations you should be able to buy this for under a tenner. But hey ho ..! The question is, who’s to blame?

  GOOD QUALITY 05 May 2020

  Was a bit daunting tackling this job as a 61yr old woman! but went step by step with the tutorial and nearly got it right first time, made a mistake with front seal and had a leak, but was dubious about how I had fitted it....took me 5 mins to resolve the issue, spring at front was a bit tricky but got it. Tutorial is great other than screw on internal spring needed to go clockwise, luckily had read a previous review to say that and was sorted.

  A pain to fit but has fixed a leaking door seal 20 February 2019

  No reflection on the quality of the seal itself but having watched a couple of online videos on how to fit, the inner seal retaining wire was nowhere near as easy as the videos suggested. Nontheless I managed to get it fitted eventually and the machine is now leak free

  Simple job 08 February 2019

  Had a problem with the washer and in fixing that found a hole in the door seal. Got onto espares after trying a internet search and found the price for an original part was cheaper than anywhere else. Part arrived in a couple of days, ordered Sat night part arrived Monday. Watched the video on espares for tips of fitting. Started and done within an hour. Very please. It's like new.

  Arrived very quick, slightly fiddly to fit 25 January 2019

  Very impressed with espares and the ease of ordering. I watched a youtube video of how to install this then ordered it. The video was very helpful but didn't make clear just how fiddly the inner cable was to fit. I needed 3 hands but managed to get it tight after a bit of help from my brother in law who held it in place for me. Really impressed with the service and the updates by text. I liked the option to have it left in a secure place by DPD as I was out when it was delivered. Overall really pleased and I will be using you again in the future if I need any spare parts.

  Samsung Door Seal 29 December 2018

  Part arrived the day after ordering. Part was fitted as eSpares video. Removal of outer band is easy. Access to rear band is restricted, so I placed blocks of wood between concrete weights and washer outer casing to move drum back 50 to 60mm to give more access to inner band loosening mechanism. I started to loosen inner screw anticlockwise but very tight and gave clicking sound when turning the screw. After a while I realised that the screw had to be turned clockwise on my machine in order to release the inner band. Re-fitting the inner section is quite easy using washing up liquid as eSpares suggested. Tightening inner band is straight forward. The outer band is more difficult to position as the spring is very strong and kept pulling the band out of the rubber groove. I ended up using a plastic spatula to chase the band around the groove after application of washing up liquid to help the spatula slide easily over the rubber seal. It took just over one hour to carry out all operations, but if doing it again it would be much quicker now I know how to easily carry out the repair. Machine is now back to a new condition with no door leaks and no black mould. Very happy with the final result.
