quick and easy fix 25 January 2016
The previous light guide set had a broken tab where the start/stop button was, meaning I couldn't operate the dryer. After removing the top & unscrewing the front panel I took a picture of the panel in case I dislodged any wires. You only need to remove a further 3 screws to access the light guide set and clip it out after disconnecting the wire to a small computer circuit board that also clips out. After that just rebuild with the new part & you are good to go.

Typical, the time when I need my tumble drier most- it breaks.i wasn't too sure what was wrong so once I stripped down the front, it was clear the plastic bit holding the switch in place had snapped. I had a quote over email to a repair company and they estimated around £50. I decided to have a look for the part myself and found it straight away and though if I can't fix it then I've haven't waisted too much so it's worth a go. Hey presto it worked and now I can catch up on all the washing in this awful weather.

That was easier than expected 10 November 2015
I'll start this review by saying, although not the worlds clumsiest person, I do have a propensity to break things, so much so that I'm very rarely allowed to fix anything around the house. When I woke up on Sunday the 2nd November, to the heartbreaking news that my Beko Condenser dryer had broken down it felt like the end of days. Winter is upon us, I hate clothes being draped over radiators, drying on the washing line is off the menu for the next 6 months (optimistic estimate) and Christmas is just round the corner. I may be over dramatising, but the thought of spending over £200 on a new dryer was not something that I was looking forward to. As I had nothing to lose, I decided that I would take apart the dryer and see if I could spot what the problem was, fully expecting it to be way over my primitive head. To my great surprise, taking apart the dryer was simpler than I could have dreamed and within 24 minutes, I had discovered what the problem was, very specific time I hear you say, I know the exact time, because I started taking the Dryer apart on Monday morning and I had 30 minutes to spare before I had to leave to catch the train. Not only had I completed the investigation, I managed to find the part from espares and arrange for next day delivery (I'll admit at this point, I did miss the train, but who wants to rush on a Monday morning). The replacement part arrived at 10am the next morning and I was kept informed of when it would be arriving and if I needed to arrange alternative delivery instructions, if I wasn't going to be in (I wasn't but thankfully the part was small enough to go through my letterbox). Fitting the part proved to be as simple as identifying the fault and when I put the the dryer back together and plugged it in, to my utter amazement it worked. Thankyou eSpares, now if you can help me decide how to spend all of the money I had mentally earmarked for a new dryer, I'll put you on my Christmas card list

A simple fix 03 May 2016
The Start button on our Beko dryer would not work. A check inside showed that a plastic moulding had broken. I ordered the moulding from espares and fitting took only about 10 minutes. So: * a reasonable price for the moulding * easy ordering from a good website * quick delivery
