The bulb in my Neff oven failed and I was unable to remove the glass cover with my hand so I ordered this plastic removal tool. The tool fitted over the glass light cover but being plastic tended to give way and kept slipping over the glass ridges when using a lot of pressure to turn the tool anticlockwise. I then stuck two layers of masking tape around the glass cover to give the plastic tool a tighter fit. This level of masking tape made all the difference and the glass cover was then removed.

Always hard to remove the cover for oven lights and get worse with old age. This item would appear to assist with this occasional job. Have just had a practice so far but now ready when the bulb goes.

Because of the position, back corner in main oven and near element, could not turn tool with one hand. Succeeded after removing drop down oven door, which enabled to turn using two hands, big sigh of relief from the boss.

always had problems changing the oven light bulb a real pain as I have been changing bulbs every two to three months saw this product on an e spares demo so thought for the price it is worth having one can't believe how easy it makes the job

I tried to remove the lamp cover to replace a blown bulb - even with a rubber grip it wouldn't budge. Ordered this from espares and it took longer to unpack than it did to get the lamp cover off. Buy one - you won't regret it.

Could not move the glass lamp cover. Tried everything. It just would not budge. At the point of giving up and saw this tool on this website. Bought this and one sharp anti-clockwise twist and the 5 year old glass was released. New bulb from eSpares fitted and no more shining a torch into the oven! Happy days!

Disappointing 28 October 2020
It is made of a 'slippery' plastic material and difficult to hold in position in use. I have a Neff oven and I also found the depth of the socket was too shallow to grip the protrusions on the light glass adequately. Am still unable to remove the glass to change the bulb. One good feature is a wide transverse slot into which a screwdriver shaft or similar could be placed to increase the leverage.
