Parts arrived as requested but they took a week to get to me from order. Ordered on standard delivery and they were supposed to be in stock, so I would have expected about 3 or 4 days. Have used espares before and will again as their prices are good.

Fixed the dryer and saved an expensive callout 21 August 2015
These thermostats were easy to fit, just a few screws to undo the back of the dryer and then one screw on each thermostat. The dryer now works again, blowing out hot air again instead of cold.

For the sake of 10 minuets problem solving and ordering the parts I saved myself the cost of a new dryer. A simple ten pounds parts and postage purchase resulting in me fixing my tumble dryer and not having to go out and purchase a new one. Espares website was very easy to use and helpful would use again fast ordering and quick delivery.

Thermostat solution. 04 November 2015
This kit was so much cheaper than the genuine part. I've had experience of using pattern (non-genuine) spare parts when building and repairing machines and I've yet to encounter a problem. Think about it. Companies can, and do manufacture the basic parts to build their products. The rest of the process however is strictly assembly. Manufacturers have neither the means, the expertise, or the space needed to make every component for their products. Smaller or more complex parts are outsourced. Where do you imagine they buy these parts...... Yes ! They use exactly the same suppliers as the aftermarket, pattern-part merchants. The thing is, and here's the crux of the matter, the manufacturers have these parts made with their names on the packaging and sometimes the components themselves. They now refer to them as 'GENUINE'. Remember. If you buy your spare part as a 'pattern' or non-genuine' item you are almost certainly buying a totally identical item to the 'genuine' one. The thermostats which I bought fixed the problem with my tumble dryer immediately. THANK YOU E SPARES !
