  Simple annd easy to fit 04 October 2017

  Only slight problem was that the thermostats were marked/labelled differently from the previous pair (also replacements). The previous pair were marked with the temperature rating, these were marked with a coloured spot on the top (no explanation) and the two least significant digits of the temperature as part of a code on the side.

  Excellent product at good price 05 February 2017

  The thermostats were very good value and delivered on time. I have only awarded 4 stars because of the lack of installation details. On your website there was a video showing the fitting of the thermostats and it stressed that they should be installed in line with the information that comes with the thermostats. Unfortunately the thermostats arrived without any installation details. As the original thermostats did not have any identification I could not tell which thermostat went where. After searching on the internet I found a site that indicated that the thermostat with the yellow dot on it was the cycling thermostat and showed the location on the dryer. With this information The installation was completed very easily.

  Good, easy to fit. Make sure to replace thermostat with green mark with the one also having the green mark. Replaced these a few years ago so hopefully will last as long.

  Parts were colour-coded but nothing to tell the meaning of the codes 15 March 2015

  The parts I ordered (a kit of two almost identical thermostats for a tumble drier) were dispatched within a couple of hours of my placing the order. That was remarkably efficient! Thank you! However, the two thermostats looked identical, with only a green dot on one and a yellow dot on the other to determine which was the low-temp stat and which was the high-temp stat. There was no documentation to explain the significance of the coloured dots, and unlike the old broken stats that I removed, the operating temperature of each thermostat was not stamped on them anywhere. Mark on the help desk also didn't know which was which, although all credit to Mark, he went and investigated and eventually called me back with the relevant (and correct) information. I completed the repair five minutes later. In short, Espares' service and customer help desk were both superb, but why did their supplier not think to either stamp the operating temperature on each stat, or to provide a small piece of paper showing the colour codes used with their dots of paint (e.g. green dot =x degrees, blue dot = y degrees, yellow dot = z degrees, etc)

  Straight forward swap 23 December 2014

  The only thing that would have made the job easier would have been a sheet of instructions. Having said that the two thermostats were marked.

  So far so good ... 04 August 2014

  Received safe & sound in good packaging. Having seen the instructional video, expected a thermostat wiring guide as quoted, but none included. Took the tumble dryer panels off to reveal the thermostats, as shown in video, but not the side panel as that wasn't needed unless changing the heating element too, which I wasn't. One new thermostat was marked with a green dot, and the other new one was maybe yellow. The first old one I took off, had a green dot on it, so replaced it with the similar green dotted thermostat. Guessed that as the green dot was at the bottom, that was the right way round, and replaced the wires accordingly. The other old one was burnt out and blackened with smoke, so put the new one in not knowing which way round it should go (gasp), and wired up as before. Putting everything back together in reverse order as shown on video was the easy part. Turned it on, and all OK (so far), and have used at least 6 times since fitting at different temperatures.

  I had no heater in my tumble dryer. I ordered a replacement heater element and it was delivered promptly. Great service. Unfortunately I should have read the blogs and I should have ordered thermostats first as this is the most common fault. I ordered these from espares and again the parts were delivered promptly. The help video made the job simple and everything is working again fine

  Great purchase and saved me a lot of money 03 January 2013

  These thermostats work perfectly and I was saved probably a three-figure bill for a callout or a new machine. Just one small issue - neither of the two had a green spot and it was hard to work out which went where as they were different to the originals and had different ratings. An educated guess had to be taken and they work perfectly but maybe you should give fitting instructions to make this a 'perfect product'.
