  Essential to have one or two spare filters handy if you use your Karcher without a bag as I normally do. Filters can get clogged very quickly and if they get wet the increased suction causes the overflow valve in the machine to lift and stop the job. Wet filters take days to dry out even in a warm dry environment.

  Great product, great quality better that the original I would recomed this for peace of mind your vachume deserves it not a cheap quality copy. A new vac costs more than a filter so don't risk it.

  Just fine... as filters go 03 June 2013

  Let's be honest, filters in vaccum cleaners are yesterday's technology. Sadly, if you want a wet-dry vac it's a neccessary evil. By the nature of filters, stuff gets trapped in them and they stop letting air through. You have to either clean them or change them. After banging the dust out or scraping gunge from between the tines a few times, the plastic ring breaks or the filter paper tears. It happens. But they are cheap-ish and easy to replace. If you have a couple you could probably wash (rather than bang or scrape) them and have enough time to let them dry, which should extend their lives... These filters are exactly the same as the ones that come on the Kaarcher Vaccumes and so are fine. They last as long and do as good a job as the original.

  Very easy to fit since it comes with the otherwise easily lost thumb-turn button. Rather an expensive item but does rejuvenate the 'suck' of your vacuum. Still recommend regular removal and tapping to knock out some of the trapped fine dust and extend filters life.

  I bought my vac about 8 years ago and the original filter lasted best part of 7 years.I've since had 2 replacements that do well to last six months. The seal at the top splits if you look at it too hard.Not what I'd expect from a brand such as Karcher
