Poor quality plastic rims 18 November 2010
The main problem with this item is that the outer plastic rim is very thin and when you tap it to clean out the dust & debris (which you will eventually have to), it is liable to crack in many places. I have bought 2 of these filters & it has happened with both. I have now resorted to taping the plastic rims to hold them together. Apart from this, they are fine - quite cleanable & washable.
