  Excellent quality replacement drum drive belt. Reasonable price considering the length of the belt, quite easy to fit and, surprisingly to me, it has definitely improved the drying performance of the tumble drier.

  Zanusi tumble drier drive belt change 13 January 2015

  Not an easy fix and not obvious that the side panel need removing as no rear access. Took me an hour to work out how to replace the belt. The top need to come off the side panel. Then the drum needs to be eased off the front bearing/bush so the band can be slid over the drum. Could do with video showing how this is done.

  Saved a fortune 07 January 2015

  When the belt on our tumble drier broke, my wife was all set on getting a new machine. However, with the help of eSpares and YouTube I managed to fit the new belt with little difficulty.Very satisfying!

  I Chose this belt because the price was what I was expecting to pay, there were cheaper alternatives but as the job of replacing a dryer belt is sometimes a tricky one I do not want to do it again in a hurry. The belt felt of a good quality and seemed a slightly bit thicker than the original. After following an e spares video showing how to do the job, it was quite a simple procedure to install. Also took the opportunity to Hoover out all the accumulated fluff in the depths of the machine, as all the sides, top and back were removed. It is now running like a new dryer.

  Well worth the DIY 30 September 2014

  I ordered this as the belt on my AEG Lavatherm 56830 had snapped. The quality appears to be the same as the OE belt that lasted 12 years so we shall see. I would not suggest you take on the job of fitting this belt if you are not mechanically adept. The "How To" video on e spares is excellent but on my model to save removing the two piece back panels (and possibly ruin the gaskets) I found it easier to remove the front. Follow the video to remove the top and side panels, No need to remove the door, the two screws that hold the water tank housing on when removing the control panel are longer than the others and one holding the lower front panel is of a different type. Check that you have removed the correct screws, don't force anything. Be sure to chock the drum and the front will come forward enough to slip the belt between the front and the drum face. There is an earthing carbon brush housing under the drum to the left which you should in unclip and when replacing ensure is in contact with the drum(check the snail spring). The whole job took me less than an two hours but I could halve that if I did it again. Job Done, loads of money saved. Hooray for eSpares!
