  Tricity Bendix tumble dryer drive belt 12 January 2010

  This belt for the Tricity Bendix TM220W tumble dryer is excellent and of very good quality, I would recommend buying a clamping roller and replacing the felt seal at the same time. Fitting the belt...the electric motor moves to the right, this acts as a tensioner for the belt, hold the motor over to the right wedging it with a cut to size biro against the body of the machine, place the belt around the motor drive spindle, to the left then loop it around the drum and against the clamping roller, moving the drum forward whilst checking the belt is still in place, put two screws in the top of the back check its all in place and pull the string you tied to the biro to release the motor and so tesion the belt.   Drive belt is of a good quality and fitting is relatively simple after removing the back panel of the dryer to access the motor and belt tensioner. Save yourself money and have a go yourself.

  Ordered Tumble Dryer belt, delivered on time. Not so easy to fit had to almost dismantle M/c to get it in but internet searches helped Fast efficient service if you can handle a screwdriver it worth having a go yourself Cost I think £12, saved probably £80 - No Brainer have a go!!!
