  Satisfactory substitute for full price Cannon shelves 23 October 2016

  Arrived very promptly as notified. As other reviewers have already said these shelves are adjustable to fit your particular cooker, and the little clips are fiddly to make grip securely. The shelves are not as strong as the original ones, so placing heavy items in a wider oven than mine (mine is 50cms wide) could make the shelves sag. This isn't a problem for me, and the new shelves have smartened up my old cooker for a lot less cost than original Cannon shelves.

  Excellent quality for the price. 06 October 2016

  I would highly recommend The Universal Oven Shelf kit. The shelves do exactly as they say they will on the site. They expanded to fit the oven to exactly the size required, and having looked at the price of the individual original shelves for our oven then I would definitely say the universal shelf kit is excellent value for money.

  Disappointing 29 July 2016

  The base oven rack is fine however the extendable shelves are disappointing. The extension part is very sloppy and it is all too easy to knock the side in when pulling the rack out to access a tray or dish. I have another rack that is much better in that it has a screw fixing to lock the extension sides in place. Made an assumption in error that these would be the same.

  Does a very good job 21 June 2016

  The oven base unit has two fold out "legs" (the length of the unit), while the other two shelves pull out to extend to the width of your oven. None of the three pieces are the thickness/strength of the shelves I got with my original oven. None would take a full, heavy, cast iron casserole (for example). However they are fine for oven trays, cake tins and the like. My two extending units are quite stiff and so little likelihood of them coming away from the oven. If yours are prone to do this then a little wire to bind the unit to a fixed width should do the trick. I use the base unit all the time - to hold an oven tray to catch drips. The other two units are used when I require more than the two shelves that came with the oven. The last time was to cook 4 pizzas, where it was not possible to get more than one pizza tin an a shelf at the same time. A very useful product for occasional, non-heavy-duty, use. Had I been able to find shelves that exactly matched (size and heavy-duty) the ones that came with my oven I would have bought those. I couldn't, and these are a very useful and economical second best option.

  Too flexible and dangerous 20 June 2016

  The extendable shelf 'locking' system is poor. Any weight put on the shelf and it collapses. Not fit for purpose. Very disappointed.
