  Great Item, but tricky to fit. 26 September 2012

  I purchased this item to replace a part in a Baumatic fan oven. Access to the element is easy - a few screws in the oven, and the old one is out, the tricky part comes when trying to connect the wires to the new element. Baumatic have left very very short cables for the element, so be careful when installing these elements - as you can easily lose the cables through the back of the oven cavity. Other than that, great!

  The element arrived within two days, packed protectively. Having read the reviews and the problems involved in fitting I was daunted, however, I found this to be simple. I had access just by reaching in and plenty of cable to re-fit.

  Does exactly what it says, reasonobly easy to fit.The element can be fitted from inside the oven once the door is removed.The cables on the oven can be a little short so a little patience is required.Videos on this site show how to remove an oven door and fit the element

  Baumatic Cooker Element 13 August 2012

  Can't blame espares for this but the cooker manufacturer left almost no spare wire behind the oven shield so when the old element came out, as easy as you like, there was no way I could remove the spade connectors and still get access to them. So the whole of the back of the cooker had to come off. Come on Baumatic you saved 0.0001P per cooker and caused your customers a great deal of grief.

  product arrived as described. fitting, slightly more difficult than shown on video only because leads in oven were not long enough to pull through, so strip down job reqd. Despite this, very pleased with product and rapid delivery of part. Will definitely use espares when any further problems occur.
