good value, well package, speedy delinvery and easy to fit once the old broken lens had been removed, and it gives you an opportunity to clean the oven at the same time!

A rather unreliable product - thank goodness for espares! 25 October 2010
The reliability of the product itself is not very good. It seems that it is not capable of withstanding the temperatures or thermal cycling it is exposed to for more than about 2-3 years without breaking, which is potentially dangerous as glass fragments could fall into food. Of course this is the fault of Bosch, the supplier not Espares. The only good feature of the product is the removal tool which makes removal of the broken lens and fitting of the new one very much safer and easier. It is good that espares make a replacement available at a very reasonable price and fast delivery. I think I will try to replace the unit again in about 2 years to try to prevent another in-use failure.

This part is supplied with a tool to remove the old one and fit the new. I read that many struggled without having a special tool.

The plastic attachment sent with the lamp lens made removing the broken glass very safe and easy. Managed to install the replacement in minutes.

Good prompt delivery. Glass oven lamp fitted easily. Packaging was flimsy. Glass was wrapped in tissue paper only and in poly bag. If arrived safely, but could have been better wrapped in bubblewrap!! Other than that brilliant service.

A regular replacement 25 December 2010
A product that you are unable to purchase from your local dealer that breaks regularly. The Lens is very easy to extract from its holder and replace with the fitting supplied, but if you've already had to purchase one before there is no need to buy the extractor fitting every time you replace the lens. Would be nice if they sold just the lens separately.
