  Not noticed any difference 18 July 2012

  Well, easy to buy, came veryfast (thanks espares) and cheaper than retail shops. However, I've not noticed any difference in my drying times or clothes softness. I even dried two similar lots of clothes, one with and one without the balls. I've a relatively new branded dedicated dryer so I don't think that's the determining factor. One thing I noticed was the dryer is now noisier with the balls clonking around in it. They are quite hard and I can't help wonder if, over time, they'd wear out the inside. Good idea though I'm not convinced the marketing theory (hype) has come true for me.

  i dont think it makes the clothes any softer but the clothes definatly dry a lot quicker so it definatly makes the puchase worth while.

  Initially sceptical, I can confirm they work, don't overload the dryer and they work a treat! Thought the pricing was a bit firm but on reflection they may pay for themselves. Try them.

  These were less expensive with this company than high street shops. They are quite solid and will probabily outlast the tumble dryer. the only probLem Iis that they are very noisy banging around. They do soften to a certain degree but as yet I do not know if they create more wear and tear on the items.

  I have used versions bought from door to door salespersons, which have proved to be rather noisy. These are nicely quiet and hopefully they are saving energy costs and therefore money.

  Not so energy saving ! 21 January 2012

  The positive was the ease of use. The downsides were I did not see any reduction in drying time or improvement in fabric softness. What I did find was a lot of dents in the dryer drum. The dryer balls make a loud noise during operation, and the result of the banging around is a damaged and dented drum. I have stopped using them.
