OK. First the good news. I got the filter for a Hygena APL2010, which was not a listed device, although APL2110 was. It fitted perfectly. Now the bad news. When I got it out of the pack I noticed carbon pellets in the box, and on inspection the cloth filter on the back was not stuck properly. I couldn't wait for a replacement so I put the pellets back in and glued the filter back - hence quality rating.

Hi Thomas36, these are two different models, I'm perplexed as to why you have both numbers! I'm afraid I can't help much more than to say that if it is an APP2300 then this is the filter you're after, or if it's an APM2211 then this is the one you're after: http://www.espares.co.uk/part/cooker-hoods/hygena/p/1091/1037/0/0/1029695/cooker-hood-single-carbon.html
