This genuine replacement carbon brush is for select AEG and Electrolux washing machines. Please check the list of appliances to make sure this part will fit your model.

Please note: Some models were manufactured with 2 different motors, please check prior to ordering that your model is fitted with an FHP type motor, this information can usually be found printed on the motor itself. This carbon brush is for FHP motors only.

This video should help with fitting this part. However, the exact layout and fitting technique may differ for your make and model.

When our AEG washing machine stopped turning after many years of good service we were filled with dread at the thought of having to replace it and the cost. Then came the realization that it was probably just the carbon brushes which I could replace so I checked Espares web site for the part. It did take a number of emails to confirm the right part needed and now our washing machine is as good as new. THANKS

Correct product, arrived in record time - by 8am day after ordering on next day delivery. Easy to fit, but in this case it was useful that I was trained as an electrical & electronics engineer. Not sure whether this is one for a beginner as the motor needed removing and the brushes making correct contact.

original part, overpriced, but fits easily. This is a plastic moulded holder with the carbon brush inside, you can't just change the brush and you need the exact brush type otherwise it will not fit the screwholes. Hence the inflated price i guess. Before buying check which motor you have, AEG lavmat seems to have different types of motors.
