We have a Neff Dishwasher and the new wheels are relatively easy to fit. The wheels fit onto a stub on the wire basket and are secured in place by a plastic hook which is part of the new replacement unit. It can be tough to remove the old ones as you need to swivel the unit by prizing the hook off the basket. Once off though the wheel just pops off and the new one pops on. Then you need to turn the part so the hook clips onto the basket.

Quick answer-with ease. The basket is taken out :each old wheel is on a spindle, which is part of the basket and is easy to spot, and is attached by a push on clip. You just push off the old wheels. Usually the old hub has broken awayfrom the rim(which is why they do not run smoothly) and they come away in two bits. The new wheels are then just pushed onto the empty spindle. Basket then replaced so wheels are on runners.
I have an old Bosch dishwasher SMS 4602EU, bought in South Africa. I need new basket wheels, so I was wondering if your upper basket wheels would fit my machine. Alternativly supply me with the correct ones.
My old ones have a female wheel of approx 19mm dia, 6mm thick with a shoulder of 12mm dia, 6mm long. The internal dia in the shoulder is approx 9mm. Into this the male insert goes and is 9mm dia and 12mm o/a length. The shoulder part of this component fits on to the baskets 6mm wires.
