Ask & Answer

(3 Questions and 3 Answers) Ask a question
  • Q filter cap will not unscrew 1 Answer

Dose it un screw clockwise or anticlockwise

    By jb - portsmouth - 03 February 2015

    • A
Anticlockwise. If it turns partially and jams it is likely to be due to debris in the hose stopping the filer turning. If this is the case remove the pump and take the hoses off to clear the debris. For more info see our video: how to replace the circulation pump on a washing machine

  • Q Hi there, is this the same as a 'Washing Machine Fluff Filter'? If not, what's the difference. Many Thanks 1 Answer

    By AReed - Surrey - 25 April 2014

    • A
Some may know this as a 'fluff filter' as it is attached to the pump body and designed to try and catch hair grips and coins from reaching and stopping the pump.
