Description
This universal door seal is designed to fit most modern ovens that have a three sided seal. The seal attaches to the body of the oven by a single hook in each corner.
Please make sure that there is a single hole in each corner of your oven. This will not fit ovens that have two holes in each corner.
The kit includes a 1.5m length of black door seal that you cut to the right size for your oven, plus 2 corner and 2 straight hooks to attach the seal to the body. Comes with full fitting instructions.
To fit the new seal:
Measure the distance between the holes
Cut the top and sides of the seal to size
Trim the corners to 45° on the top seal and at the top section only of the side seal. Leave the bottom section of the side seal at 90°
Insert the barbed corner hooks into the slot of the seal at the top corners
Insert the barbed straight hook into the slot of the seal at the bottom of the sides
Clip the corner hooks into the top holes and the straight hooks into the bottom holes on the face of the oven

How to replace an oven door seal
This video should help with fitting this part. However, the exact layout and fitting technique may differ for your make and model.

Thought this product was probably too good to be true, as so much cheaper than other products on offer on the web. Having bought it and had it delivered in no time, I was pleased to be proved wrong.
It was extremely cheap, but is also incredibly effective, easy to fit and has stopped me having to spend a fortune buying the wife a new cooker!Happy days.

Hi andy1976, it sounds as if heat is escaping from the top oven, causing the control knobs to melt. A damaged door seal is the most common reason for this happening. Check out the video on this page for help fitting the door seal.
