This detergent dispenser is a genuine part and will easily fit select models of Bosch, Neff and Siemens dishwasher. Please check the list of appliances prior to ordering to ensure this is the right part for you.
Detergent Dispenser fitting tip:
Unplug from mains
Remove stainless steel cover with torx screw driver, leave the two larger screws each side that hold the hinges in place.
There is a cable tidy which is attached to the inside of the dispenser - remove carefully
Unplug the connectors to the old dispenser then carefully cut the top plastic lugs off the old dispenser and it will come away easily. Beware the stainless steel edges are sharp.
Replacement is a reversal of the removal. Press the new dispenser in firmly as it must 'click' into place to be secured by the stainless steel lugs.

Very expensive component i thought and not easy to fit. Fortunately we found a video online explaining how to do it. All in all however, it does the job.
Hi,
I note you state that this item will fit into a Bosch SGS5358GB/17 but I have found that one of the connectors (the one near the rinse aid) is different to mine.
Yours has a connector on the side whereas the one I am trying to replace has it near the other connector.
Can you advise
Many thanks in advance
Chris

Hi Chris. That is strange, In have the exact same model as you and this part was a direct swap for the old one. Perhaps your machine was a different batch? Are the connectors going to fit at all or are they physically different? I have attached a picture of the old (broken) assembly which was original on my machine to see if that helps you - is yours different?
Hi sizer.
This part would replace your current Dispenser if it became damaged. It is not a stand-alone gadget. I'm afraid I don't know how they work though!
