I bought this and three other parts for a Miele vacuum that is probably nearly 10 years old. They arrived quickly and fit perfectly. The price was a bit of a shock but I think it compares well to other suppliers.

Beware that the piece that slides into the miele body is a different fitting you have to remove the swivel neck from the old one.
Even though the picture on the box looks the same as your old one.
