The product arrived quickly and the text messages from the courier were very useful. The product was well packaged to avoid damage in transit. The product was easy to install, I have never fitted 1 before and it only took me 20mins.

  • Q How on earth do you undo the screw nuts around the element connection?? they are so small and almost flush against the panel! I cant even undo the nuts on the replancement element you sold me!! 2 Answers

Hi, Thanks, but the new element has nuts with threats on at the point where you need to reconnect the wires! I cannot undo these nuts as they are not thick enough for a fixing nut or pliers! This is the same situation with old element which I cannot remove from the oven! Removing the screws from this part of the element is not covered in your online video. Am I missing something simple and obvious? Please feel free to contact me directly to discuss further. Thanks Pete

Hi there, you'll need to retain the nuts from your original element - this one doesn't come with the fixing nuts included. They should come away by hand, or with the help of a pliers.

  • Q Fan oven Element for Belling xou251 or xou252 2 Answers

You show two fan elements for my cooker, which one should I buy and why? Here are numbers I found on the cooker that might help. 4289r473, IRCA240v2000W,524022100 and RL8, does these nimbers help?

All i can tell you is that I ordered the 2000 watt element for my XOU252SS and it works fine - when i spoke with belling they tried to get me to buy a £54 element from them and could not confirm if it was the 2000 or 2100 watt version. I went for the eSpares 2000 watt version and there is no difference!

  • Q why does my element keep blowing???? have been fitting new 1 every 2 mths 1 Answer

Hi pete, the first thing to check is that you've definitely been buying the correct element for your cooker, with the correct wattage. If that's all good, it's potentially the thermostat that is damaged, causing the element to overheat and eventually fail - if your food is burning in the oven, this'll definitely be the cause.

I have a Belling 252. The video wasn't the same for me either. So after getting the oven out of the unit I had to unscrew the back panel, remove the connectors and then undo the two nuts holding the element in place. If you have done all this the element must be fused on to the oven by use! Just work it loose gently.
