Somewhat fiddly to fit due to limited space. There are a couple of useful video clips on line and are definetly worth watching before tackling. You will need a torch and if on hard floor something to kneel on. It took me about 20 minutes including testing and cooling down before re-fitting the cover. Be especially careful when disconecting the old element that you don't let the wires fall down inside the back of the oven. Out of interest I got a quote from a domestic appliance company. They wanted a £39 call out fee then £65 pounds labour plus the cost of the new element which they couldn't tell me even though I gave them the oven model number. They said that their engineer would have to identify it during the call out. Therefore saved over £100 by doing it myself.

Happy with purchase so far. Easy to fit and our oven is working again. Glad I didn't go to the bother and expense of getting an engineer out to fix it. I had no problem fitting the coils into the lower bracket (as some other reviewers have experienced).

Try heating up with a hair dryer or squirting some releasing fluid like WD40 or use a strap wrench for removing jam jar tops available from supermarkets.
