  • Q how dose it fix 1 Answer

    • A
There are no details on the unit but these will normally have 'keyhole' shaped holes in the back that allow it to push over and lock onto a couple of screws that have been left partially unscrewed

  • Q Can these alarms be fitted to a wall as opposed to a ceiling 1 Answer

The idea is for smoke and hot gasses that will accumulate on the ceiling to immediately trigger the detector. If this where fitted on a hall wall in a Victorian house the gasses may escape up the stairs without triggering the alarm. Refer to your local fire station for further advice on positioning.
