    Overpriced not good quality

This part is expensive for a bent piece of metal. Part arrived not flat although it had been ground. Required a hammer and two blocks to reduce high spot in centre of blade.

what is the cause of this please

    Chris at eSpares says...

The cylinder should just touch the lower blade along the whole length to shear the grass in a scissor type action. The cylinder can be adjusted in height on either side to help contact but if the lower blade is not completely straight, or the cylinder has worn to a slight barrel shape then they should be replaced.
