Easy enough to remove the old one, just three screws to remove then slide it out.Unfortunatley not quite the five minute job I anticipated though. The replacement hinge comes with the 'hooks' (at the top of the picture as you look at it,which form the part which fits into the oven opening/frame) in the closed position. These are attached to the spring inside and are the active part of the hinge which helps the door to open and more importantly stay closed. Unfortunately they need to be in the open position to fit into the oven frame once fitted to the main oven door. Therefore you need to prize them apart with a flat edge screw driver by inserting it in the gap between the hinge housing and the 'hook'. It doesn't feel right to have to do this, as you are at risk of damaging the spring housing and indeed I did bend it a little. However, it seems to be the only option to do the job. I subsequntly managed it without too much incident, but feel it should be deliverd in the open position or fitted with a 'stopper' to make it ready to fit without going through this somewhat forceful process. In conclusion, it can be done, but proceed with care or you may ruin the spring housing and doubtless nullify any product guarantee. Hope this helps.
