  Genuine Dyson part for a good price 27 May 2015

  Purchased because the vacuum was not picking up fluff from carpets. Only comment relates to how difficult it is to fit the drive belt. It's hard to get the belt over the drive spindle as it's hard to get access. NOTE - Nothing wrong with the part supplied by espares; more an issue with Dyson design.

  Good Purchase 26 February 2015

  Glad I replaced the original brush roller ...carpets now much cleaner and I am emptying the vacuum more often ! It is fiddly to fit - use a large screwdriver to lever the drive band back in place , my main problem however was making sure the front edge of the sole plate fitted in flush into vacuum base- there are three horrible little clips that are supposed to engage into the base. Got there in the end. Good service ..thanks E Spares.

  It pays to bye the real item made by Dyson not a cheaper copy, the cheap copy lasted five months and then became noisey and began to break up.

  Replaced this item as part of an overhaul on my Dyson and apart from the placement of the belt drive all went well... Fitting this part and the brush was easy but the tension required to loop over the belt proved a difficulty for me and assistance was required from someone with more strength. When job completed the parts worked well and improved the performance of my vacuum cleaner.

  Hard to fit 21 November 2013

  The product arrived in record time and although it was a little more expensive than buying from Dyson direct purchasing online with eSpares was far easier. There were no fitting instructions and this is a very difficult part to fit, I had to resort to logging onto Utube to find out how to fit it. There is a simple device available to greatly assist fitting, a simple plastic bridge to slip the drive belt over, and eSpares should supply this part.

  Saved a fortune 12 November 2013

  My old Dyson DC04 wasn't picking up properly and was making a racket so I thought the motor had gone - it is 14 years old after all. Looking at replacement Dysons I was shocked at how much they now cost . My other half then took a look and noticed the brush had snapped and damaged the soleplate. I looked up in espares having used them before for other items and found just the thing for about 10% of the cost of a new Dyson. Once it arrived I managed to easily fit the parts and my Dyson is as good as new and picking up dust and cat fur a treat.

  Great refurb item 15 August 2013

  Replaced an old non-Dyson roller with this proper Dyson item. What a difference! Machine is quieter and more efficient. Plus the fact that it comes with a sole plate smartened up my tired DC14i. Highly recommended.
