  Not exactly as advertised 03 April 2019

  Just so people are not as confused as me, look at the Q&A rather than the product description. The product is 100% plastic and bares not resemblance to stainless steel what-so-ever. The look is, you guessed it, like plastic meaning the front of my oven appears slightly like an easy bake oven. It also doesn't help that the knob actually fits the wrong way round, but ah well. I did give it 5 stars for fit as it was very easy to install; it was also thankfully very easy to take back off again.

  Sub Standard Materials 23 August 2015

  I have had to replace the Oven Control knobs twice now. They are of a soft type plastic and are not heat resistant and melt when the upper oven/grill is on and the oven door is open with heat flowing upwards. I fitted a temporary knob of harder plastic and it did not melt. However it was of the wrong colour to match the double oven. I have cured this design problem by manufacturing a heat deflector, so now the knobs don't melt.

  Why is it that I have to keep buying these oven knobs because they constantly melt and distort, surely the manufacturer can make these of a better quality plastic
