Tricky on a hoover select 1500 26 November 2013
OK first I didn't realise this was a grey handle when I needed white but then again our washing machine is very old and made of many spare parts these days it didn't really matter so long as it works! Instructions would be helpful since there weren't any and the video shows what I can only imagine to be the very simplest of washing machine doors! Ours was very far from simple and I'm a chartered engineer. :-) still, got there in the end after a couple of hours fiddling about with hinges that were integrated in the damn door. Overall, worth doing it yourself if you have the patience, dexterity, and a little nous. Saved at least 50 quid.

The order arrived quickly and was just right to fix our washing machine door. I read previous reviews before purchasing and took the advice of other reviewers and took a photo of how the old parts were assembled before attempting to change the fittings. I did find it useful to have someone there to push the pin that holds the assembly in while I kept the parts aligned while under tension. All in all great value and quite easy to fit. Will defo use e-spares again

The parts arrived in the specified time. They were a little tricky to fit but only because the spring is fiddly. The online fitting video was a godsend and made the job as easy as it could be.

The washing machine handle I bought was perfect. I did struggle with the fitting as it was very fiddly. However, after asking for a bit help from a friend it was fit for purpose and I now have a washing machine door that opens and shuts. Much cheaper than having to buy a new machine !!!

Part arrived in good time, complet with new brackets & screws. Fiddly to install, fitting new spring, was not easy, but total job took about 30 mins. The video helped but it was not the same washing machine, but it still gave good background information & the principle was similar. The door is now as good as new!!

Colour mismatch and incomplete order 13 August 2013
Only the handle arrived - and it was grey. No new catch or new spring as the picture suggests and no instructions. The new handle was fitted in 30 minutes and works a dream (compared to the old one) - good thing I did not need the other bits. If you want a colour other than grey, go elsewhere.

Arrived in 3 days - Easy to fit in 30 minutes - I now have a grey handle on a white washing machine. Espares could do with giving a choice of colours to match where it is to be used!!!!

All good the only downside was that the video shown bared no resemblance to the machine it was going on to. Managed to still fit but was more fiddly than expected.
