  Sprucing up an old basket 31 May 2015

  After 8 years of frequent use, the tips of several 'prongs' had become damaged and rusted. These inserts were an ideal way to spruce up the original lower basket which was otherwise in fairly good shape. I used a narrow-bladed screwdriver to gently prise off the four little M-shaped retaining clips, and then unclipped the grey plastic end-housings from the main basket. Having disengaged the old inserts, refitting the new ones and re-assembly was a little fiddley, but nothing beyond the average DIY-er.

  Pity order was incomplete 02 November 2014

  Ordered a pair and received one. Took an extra week but all is well that ends well. Still took 2 phone calls and no one bothered to respond after the first, hence the second. BUT we did get the order.

  Quality looks better than the original. 03 January 2013

  The original was plastic coated metal. As soon as the plastic coating was penetrated water/steam etc corroded away the metal to the point that the article fell into two. The replacement looks to be better made, time will tell. Very simple to install. My one criticism is that its price is 10% of that of a new Bosch Dishwasher (just checked on the John Lewis website) and that seems a little excessive to me.I know that there are extra costs involved with spares and I know its my choice to buy the spare at the price advertised, but even so this costs a lot for what it is. Having said that a new bottom drawer would have cost just under 50% of that of a new dishwasher, so by that measure this is good value.

  Replace the parts rather than a new machine 14 May 2012

  Our fitted Neff dishwasher is 11 years old and some of the plastic covering on the support baskets had failed. A quick check on eSpares found the parts quickly. They were delivered very quickly and were easy to fit Bought the full top basket as well (reviewed elsewhere) which was a lot more expensive (but 1/4 the price of a replacement machine). If the dishwasher goes on for another 5 years will have more than paid for itself.

  Lower Basket fixed at last! 09 October 2011

  I am so pleased that e spares was able to find me the replacement insert for the lower basket of my dishwasher. It saved me from having to buy a whole new lower basket which would have cost 4 times the price. I now check e spares before replacing anything in the house.

  Such an improvement 29 March 2011

  I hesitated before ordering these plate racks, as it seemed a lot of money for a small part, but I'm delighted I went ahead in the end. The old inserts had become rusty and worn and the new ones look great. They were a little stiff to fit in place but are now securely held and, together with the new plate support clips, hold extra plates safely and easily. Almost make my dishwasher look new! They were easy to find and buy and were delivered within 5 days.
