High quality product. 02 March 2017
The seal is excellent quality, but was extremely difficult to fit, as the cover on my Bosch washing machine cannot be removed. This meant that all work had to be carried out in a very restricted space between the door aperture and the rim of the drum. I've still awarded 4 stars overall because the difficulty of fitting has nothing to do with the seal. Allow several frustrating hours for this job...

Removed old one. Fittings all sprung wire which was handy. Fiddly taking off door front. If your not confident don't try. Fitted new seal within 1/2 hour start to finish. Removed old one. Easiest purchase for washing machine ever 10 December 2015
Door seal came the next day wrapped well and was exactly what we required. The video showing to fit the door seal was so helpful.(Thanks for this). Door seal on the washing machine that day, so that usual service could be resumed from the washing machine.

The youtube video was a great help in giving me confidence in tackling replacing the door seal. Trickiest part was getting the original spring retainers back on, otherwise fairly straightforward. Website was good in confirming the part fitted my model washing machine. Next day delivery brilliant as we had family coming to stay and needed the machine up and working.

The vidio instructions on your website are excellent: a must for DIYers. Removal of the heavy balance weight is reccomended to make it easier to ensure the seal is seated. Uike shown on the vidio, ftting the seal wire retainer to outer panel by hand is difficult.Imade a special tool to stretch the tension spring to enable me to pass the wire retainer over the seal and into the rubber groove.

Although we spent considerable time trying to ensure that we ordered the correct door seal when it arrived we realised it wasn't right. In fairness we were able to know what seal we did need and the replacement product and returns process couldn't be faulted. We used Mat's eSpares Video to help us and without it we would have been completely at sea. However this really isn't as simple as it appears and the Video spends most of its time explaining how to remove the door seal and doesn't, in our opinion, spend enough time in how to re-fit the door seal. There are also some tips and drills not covered which makes fitting the door seal easier. For example applying Fairy Liquid (or equivalent) around edge of seal when inserting new seal on washing machine makes it alot less stressful!! Also it made light of fixing the metal band around the seal which we found extremely difficult. Jokingly we felt we should have sent in our own video version!!

Fits my Washing Machine exactly 23 January 2018
The instructional video for replacing the door seal was very useful. There were a couple of features that the video didn't cover for my machine i.e. wiring secured by brackets made removing control and door panels difficult. That bit was fiddly and took a bit of time. Taking the old seal off was easy. Putting the new one on was more of a challenge due to the sprung band being difficult to put back over the new seal. Had to get the wife to hold the band in place as I stretched it round the drum. Whole replacement task took me 1hr + 15min.
