Save your washing machine rather than buy a new one! 01 March 2017
Very difficult to fit however the how to videos on the espares site helped tremendously. In fact without them would not have been able to fit. Replacement is still going strong 3 years later.

Tricky to fit 20 February 2017
Fitting the boot to the drum was quite tricky. I thought it should be possible to fit without taking anything apart but you really do have to take the front panel off. Fitting the front of the seal was straight forward.

Pleased that the item was exactly identical to the original door seal and fitted perfectly with no difficulty. A little washing up liquid smeared around the edge made fitting over the drum easier.

Top quality part. Even with the help of the ESpares video, some of the fitting needs a lot of patience and, occasionally, a third hand. I was happy with the result which saved a call out charge, and convinced me that it is worth doing this sort of diy repair.

Product arrived on time and as per any genuine Bosch spare you do pay a premium but its worth it! It was a perfect fit and clearly of good quality. The fitting was in principle, very straightforward....but you'll need strong hands and plenty of patience to fit the inner retaining spring.

Do-able and worth it 09 November 2016
Okay, not as quick and easy as the 6 minute video... but it's well do-able. You definitely need the right screw head tool but you find out before you get into the real work. My washing machine was a Siemens so not quite identical to the Bosch's video. Close enough to be reassuring. The whole task took me about 2.5 hours but I was very careful going through each stage. It's all one man stuff once you've got the machine out. I checked an alternative you tube vid which suggested thorough cleaning of the edges which I did. It also suggested taking off the counterweight which seems mad and loads of extra disruption. Fitting the rubber seal is fiddly and my thumb is still a little sore two days later from trying to push the seal over the bezels. I also bought the wire band to fix around the seal which worked ok too.

Arrived very quickly. Fitted to a Bosch WAE28469GB Not Leaking but very mucky inside. Fitted ok with no leaks , well pleased with this product.

Excellent quality replacement part 14 March 2017
Arrived very quickly (day after ordered). Excellent and completely clear instructional clip so I could fit the seal with the laptop on the worktop next to me and follow step by step. The part fitted our Siemens washing machine perfectly and the machine was running with no problems later that afternoon. Made a great saving on having a repair company fit it (with their high charges) and the part itself (where they would charge highly again). Probably saved about £100 plus. Highly recommend this company.
