  To fit into Bosch SGS53C12GB - Unplug mains, disconnect water & waste pipes. Make sure you get as much water out the machine as possible. Lay the dishwasher on it's RH side & take off the LH side panel. No need to take the top off as that can be fiddly. Lift up sound deadening & pull off black clip holding waste pipe onto the anti siphon loop. Pull the waste pipe out of socket. Unclip rear plastic panel which holds the inlet valve & clamps the waste pipe. Pull out pipe. Simples!!

  A bit fiddly to find how to remove top of dishwasher but with help I managed it and the hose just pushed into place really easily.Do not call out the professionals for this.Reseach how to get lid off and then you don't even need your husband to help and the job is done quicker.

  ... So much so that we had to get someone in to do it. None of the advice on the web seemed to fit our machine. Time will tell about quality and our ablity to keep out the mouse who chewed the other one!

  Good purchase 28 July 2012

  I bought this drain hose for a Bosch dishwasher. It was a high quality piece of kit, quite expensive. It was difficult to fix onto the dishwasher, it took me about an hour and a half. I have run the dishwasher once and it is not leaking. As I write this, I am running it with a full load of dishes. But I am confident.

  Cheaper than getting a call out 21 March 2012

  After finding water on the floor next to the dishwasher it was either fix it myself or call an engineer. Once I had found the serial number and espares, it was easy to find the part I wanted. Although it’s never easy replacing these things it was pretty straight forward and saved myself some money. Would highly recommend.
