  Nothing to add to the ratings. The product slotted easily into my Dyson. Seems a quality product but only use will prove that. Also usage will prove if it was worth the cost.

  What a difference this makes 08 March 2015

  Until I saw the video from Matt of e-spares, I did not know this filter existed on our DC07 (Allergy) Dyson. There is no mention of it on the product (although there is for the pre-motor washable filter). It's worth to check Matt's video because the access to this filter housing can be tricky; it's more tricky than his experienced hands make it look. But the effect is dramatic; it just about sticks to the carpet again! For what it is, the piece is typically 'after-sale spares' expensive. It's hardly 'value for money' but to keep this filter working effectively is still highly recommended, allergy or not. It makes you want to do the 'Dyson-ing'!

  Despite being a "lifetime" filter, it is only after changing that you realise just how blocked it had become. Back to as new performance now !

  This highly overpriced item made little difference to the suction power from the beater bar but it showed a marked improvement to the hose suction.
