  The door striker is a must have item for any White Knight tumble dryer as it prevents turning on the dryer with the door still open, without it the machine just will not work - it is the safety device that activates the power switch once the door is closed. Unfortunately it is easily broken since it is made out of plastic and is quite delicate. It is pity it is not made of metal. While waiting for the new part to arrive I did a temporary repair on the broken component using super glue and a bent paper clip to give it strength.
