  These are GOOD - VERY VERY GOOD! I have tenants with long hair and they are forever managing to block sink and shower drains. I find these packets ideal for clearing them. One safety tip though. They are very powerful and YOU MUST COMPLY WITH THE SAFETY ADVICE when using them, The drain hole can become like a mini volcano and can eject/spit out drops of the active constituent up into your face and eyes if you are peering down into it whilst or shortly after pouring in the hot water. Keep well back and always protect your eyes!

  Does what it says very well 08 March 2018

  Bathroom basin waste was running very slow for some time - a "get around to it later" job. but Espares offered a 10% discount on a fairly low priced order, so I purchased 3 packs. Used 1 on the basin waste & within a few minutes (you have to leave it for 3 minutes to work) I could hear gurgling noises & as soon as I flushed it through in accordance with the instructions, I could detect a huge improvement & It now runs very well. Instructions might be a little clearer about use of "very hot" water. I used a recently boiled kettle, which might have been over the very specific 70 - 80' C of the instructions, without any apparent harm. So far can't fault it. Excellent product and great value.

  UNEXPECTED WIN 11 February 2018

  I was buying something else from eSpares and noticed the SLAM drain unblocker. We had one sink in the house that was always very slow to drain and I'd tried a variety of different products to try and improve the draining, with mixed results...from no effect at all to a slight improvement. SLAM was cheap enough for me to give it a go too, so I ordered it in addition to my other product. It was very easy to use with clear instructions. And at the final stage, as if the sink belched, there was an audible unblocking and since then (about 10 days ago) the sink was been draining perfectly. I highly recommend it.
