  Agree not universal without creativity 29 July 2021

  I can no longer get a seal for my 20 year old Britannia small oven so this was my only option. Easy to fit but, as everyone says, too thick and mine melted when the oven was on. A big shout out to Rob's review for the idea - I too cut the top off along the groove (easy) and also cut an extra centimetre off the lengths (btw easy to take off serrated corners). It now works so worth persevering!

  Watch the video. 02 December 2020

  Watching the video makes fitting easy. At first it appeared that the new seal was not the same as the old one, but the video explains why ... the old one was no longer made. Having fitted the new seal the oven door sits slightly ajar as the seal is thicker than the old one, but it seems it has been sealed. Time will tell.

  Decent Replacement 17 February 2019

  Followed instructions but door wouldn't shut flat on Kuppersbusch oven. Fit was much better putting the hooks on the ridge side of the seal rather than flat side per instructions. Ridge then fits in surrounding channel and door closes flat. However still to be tested.

  Really easy to fit. A relatively thick windscreen-wiper-like seal profile. Looks good. Felt robust. Sadly a little too thick for my Smeg A2 oven. The seal thickness prevents the oven closing fully.

  Good quality rubber seal 24 November 2018

  Only problem I'm having is one lower corner keeps popping out of the rounded corners. I may have to dismantle the door and bend the tag over on the inside to stop.
