  Very helpful compatibility tool on website gave me confidence i was buying the correct part. Paid for next day delivery-came on time. Couldn't find it cheaper anywhere else.   Cost effective repair of drier drum bearings 10 February 2023

  Daughter's Hotpoint tumble drier gets excessive use with three children and the bearing eventually wore causing noisy rubbing in use and potential danger of shearing off. This replacement bearing kit from eSpares was order last week, arrived next day, and the drum was repaired to get the machine in action for her again the next day. eSpares videos are essential - and brilliant. Gives you confidence of what is involved. Though does omit some stages like vacuuming 5 years of fluff out of the inside. Some reviewers report completing the work in an hour but it took me 4 hours. But saved a hundred pounds on just swapping out the drum, and it would cost many times more if buying a new drier. Excellent product and purchase.

  Easy fitting, kept the dryer running 27 January 2023

  My dryer started making a grinding noise occasionally which got worse over time until it was loud and all the time and then eventually the drum stopped rotating. Took the back off and found the bearing (it’s called a bearing but is actually a solid piece of metal impregnated with oil possibly oilite, the bearing had dried up resulting in the bearing breaking and the grating noise was the spindle rotating against the back panel of the dryer. The spindle on the machine is riveted on so the rivets need to be drilled out (videos available), fitted this and it’s been running perfectly now for 2 months, I replaced the bearing at the same time (comes in the kit).

  Repair made simple 04 April 2022

  I like my Indesit IDV75 tumble dryer - its easy to operate and efficient - unfortunately its now out of production so my only option was to repair it. - It needed a new drum shaft and bearing and i wasnt confident that i could repair it. However, Espares had a video showing just how to do it easily - i ordered the kit, and by following the instructions in the video i had the whole thing up and running in less than 30 minutes!!

  Excellent made product. With great instructions in pack. Getting to it not so easy. Only thing I would say is order drum felt for round drum front and back. Makes sense to do when apart. They did do a kit but I couldn’t find it on site though

  Great modification/repair kit for Tumble dryer. 26 October 2021

  Found this kit very easy to fit, the accompanied installation sheet gave instruction on drilling out the old factory rivets and fitment of new Shaft plate, nuts & bolts. Those with limited DIY knowledge, can find additional information for the removal of the covers, Motor connection, belt and Drum etc. on-site. All very easy, but take care not to damage bolt heads when tightening, as these are in drum and make contact with your wet clothing. Having said that the Bolts and nuts are of good quality.
